About the National Outreach Program
The Korea Society brings policy and cultural programming to the capitol of the Lone Star State, with a policy discussion on the Korea-U.S. strategic relationship and new business opportunities for corporate leaders, highlights from its recent retrospective of director Hong Sang-soo(The Day He Arrives), a special area Korean War veterans’ screening of Chosin, and school visits. The Korea Society co-hosts with GlobalAustin and the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, which sees Korea as its number one foreign investor.
