The value of Russia's monthly oil provisions to North Korea more than doubled from October 2017 to January 2018, coming out to $500,000, as illustrated in this article from NK Pro. "While the shipments are small when compared to previous exports and those formerly coming from China, they still represent the largest recorded export in recent months," the article states. According to the US Mission to the United Nations, the latest UN Security Council security package on North Korea (UNSCR 2375) "reduces about 30% of oil provided to North Korea by cutting off over 55% of refined petroleum products going to North Korea." Under this unanimously adopted resolution, there is an annual cap of 2 million barrels of refined petroleum per year and freezes the amount of crude oil provided.
