The panel will be moderated by Eunji Jeong (Designed Minds). Whether you’re just starting out, evaluating a career transition, or looking to level up as a designer, this discussion will provide valuable perspectives and actionable insights to build your career in design.

About the Speakers:
Jihoon Suh is a Staff Product Designer at Coinbase, with over 9 years of experience designing cutting-edge consumer digital products in emerging spaces such as social, gaming, AR/VR, and blockchain. He previously worked at Meta, where he contributed to the design of Meta's video call and gaming products. Currently, Jihoon leads design for Coinbase's Advanced Trading, shaping innovative trading experiences for users navigating the complexities of web3 and blockchain. With a deep passion for creating intuitive user experiences, he also serves as an advisor and UX consultant to various tech startups, helping them shape their product visions with impactful, scalable designs aimed at global expansion. Jihoon is a graduate of KAIST and holds a Master's degree from the University of Washington. |
Kayla Park is a Senior Product Designer at Instagram, where she designs ads experience for 2B users around the world. Originally from a sales and marketing background at LG and SAP Korea, her passion for design led her to the U.S., where she earned a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction. She was also an Interaction Designer at Microsoft, and has taught more than 500 students through a UX Design course online at Taling (탈잉), a Korean educational platform. Determined to help the female professional community in Korea, she co-authored the book "Female Professionals’ Career Playbook (회사에서 나만 그래?)" and was a host of the podcast "Sisters at Work (언니들의 슬기로운 조직생활)" for 4 years. She's also an interior and prop stylist based in Brooklyn, and you can easily spot her at the NYC flower market on Saturday mornings. |
Eunjoo Lim is a UX Designer at Google. She was a UX design intern at Google in 2021 and joined as a full time employee in 2022. She holds a M.S. degree in Human-Centered Design and Engineering from the University of Washington. Prior to that, she was a UX designer at Duotone, a design studio in Korea, after studying Visual Communication Design and Product Design from Handong Global University. Her passion lies in solving complex problems through user-centered design. |
Yuri is a senior product designer at Salesforce in NYC who brings a unique perspective to web and mobile design. Her multicultural background—spanning Korea, the UK, and the US—has sharpened her ability to understand and empathize with diverse user experiences. This makes her adept at creating inclusive, globally relevant designs. Yuri's design journey began with a BA in Graphic Design from Kingston University London, followed by a Master's in Communication Design from Parsons. Her diverse professional experience spans various work environments, each offering unique insights into different design approaches and organizational structures. She has worked in an agency setting with Samsung and Hyundai at Starmark in Seoul, experienced the fast-paced atmosphere of a startup at Voice in NYC, and now contributes her expertise to a larger corporation at Salesforce. This varied background has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of design processes across different business models and scales |
About the Moderator:
Eunji is a UX leader, mentor, and life-long learner. Currently, she is the Chief Product Designer of Designed Connected, a design consulting agency, and the Organizer of a growth-oriented designer community called Designed Minds. Prior to Designed Connected, Eunji designed conversational AI and other digital products at Home Depot, Hilton, and Samsung. She gains energy from traveling, visiting art exhibitions, investing in young designers, speaking at public events, and drinking good wine with friends and family. |
