ABOUT GLOW RECIPE:

Glow Recipe is a clean, fruit-powered, unapologetically fun skin care line inspired by Korean beauty. Co-founded by beauty industry veterans Sarah Lee and Christine Chang in 2014, Glow Recipe was launched as a specially curated destination for natural, cruelty-free beauty products and a platform to introduce the latest skin-care innovations from South Korea to beauty lovers across the world. Sarah and Christine vetted each brand to ensure sustainable practices and no harsh ingredients were used in any products. In 2015, Sarah and Christine were featured on ABC’s Shark Tank, where they received three investment offers.

Glow Recipe Skincare was born in 2017 with the debut of the best-selling Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask and Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser. At launch, the Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask sold out over seven times on both glowrecipe.com and at Sephora, generating a waitlist that exceeded 8,000 people. To date, the brand has expanded its cult-favorite Watermelon franchise, while expanding to other fruit products that feature Avocado, Pineapple, and Banana, which are all available online and in Sephora stores throughout the United States and Canada.

In 2018, Glow Recipe had the honor of being chosen for CNBC’s Upstart 100 List, highlighting the top start-up companies to watch. Sarah and Christine have been featured as speakers at WWD Digital Forum, Conde Nast Intl Forum, CEW, Decoded Beauty Forum, Glossy Forum and have also guest lectured at Yonsei University, Purdue University Business School, and NYU Stern Business School.
