2025 Korean Language Workshop (Short-Term)

Korean Through K-Pop Workshop

🎵 Join Our Workshop: Learn Korean Through K-Pop!  "REGISTER NOW" 

Dive into the K-pop songs as authentic materials to learn Korean grammar, expressions, and culture. We’ll explore music from 1st- to 5th-generation idol groups, solo artists, drama sound tracks and classics. Lyrics will guide us in uncovering everyday language, cultural references, and advanced grammar patterns. 

Featured artists include BTS, NCT, H.O.T., Girls’ Generation, EXO, SEVENTEEN, NewJeans, TWS, All Day Project, AKMU, J-Rabbit, and more. Each lesson highlights key grammar points and expressions, with opportunities to discuss how music reflects Korean society and daily life.

🎵  Each workshop will explore different K-Pops and expressions!

  • November 6:  We will explore several K-pop songs and their related grammar, expressions, and cultural contexts, such as SEVENTEEN’s “울고 싶지 않아”, I-LIT’s “IYKYK”, BTS’s “Fake Love”, AKMU’s “어떻게 이별까지 사랑하겠어”, including an anecdote about Han Kang, the Nobel Literature Prize-winning author. We will also explore TWR’s 첫 만남은 계획대로 되지 않아, H.O.T’s 캔디, and other K-pop songs to learn fun expressions.

  • November 13: We will further explore parts of various K-pop songs such as, IU’s 가을 아침, Girls’ Generation’s “Gee”,  EXO's "으르렁", OLDEF’s “Famous”, Zion.T’s “꺼내먹어요”, NCT’s “Graduation” and others, focusing on additional grammar points and expressions.

📂 Textbook: None. Materials will be provided in class.

📂 This workshop is recommended for students at Beginner 3~4, Beginning Conversation 1~2, Intermediate, Intermediate Conversation 1~2 levels.
