The Korea Society, an organization dedicated to the promotion of greater awareness, understanding, and cooperation between the peoples of the United States and Korea, seeks an intern to assist its media team with content creation. Applicants should have an interest in Korean or Asian issues and be able to create high-quality work for the Society’s communications with its business, government, and academic constituencies.
Preferred skills/responsibilities:
- * Excellent layout and typographical instincts
- * Experience with Photoshop, InDesign and knowledge of web-based platforms, browsers, HTML and CSS
- * Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) a plus
- * Strong interest in Social Network sites and ability to post updates with little notice
- * Attention to detail with an ability to meet tight deadlines
- * Korean-language skills a plus
- * Good knowledge of Korean contemporary culture a pluse
