New student?
For those interested in Beginning Korean II or higher, we ask that you take one of the placement tests below. This process ensures that you will register for the course most suitable for you.

Beginning Placement Exam
 
Intermediate/Advanced Placement Exam

Not sure which Placement Exam to take?
Those who know some Korean and are above a Beginning Korean I level to a low intermediate level should take the Beginning Placement exam. Those who are at a mid-intermediate to advanced level should take the Intermediate/Advanced Placement exam.

Interested in Beginning I or Fast-Track Beginning I classes?
No placement exam is needed, and you can proceed directly to registration. Please note that Fast-track Beginning Korean I is for those with some background with Korean and knowledge of the alphabet, hangeul.
