Violinist Julia Choi is active in many spheres of the music world today. She is an emerging young artist, praised for her “delightful idiosyncrasy” and “musical integrity” (The Classical Source). At 23 years of age, she has won top prizes in several competitions, including the LISMA International, Caprio Young Artist, and New York Competitions. Ms. Choi has performed as a member of the Philadelphia Orchestra as well as the San Diego Symphony, and has worked in various orchestras with world-renowned conductors, including Alan Gilbert, Zubin Mehta, and James Levine. In pursuit of her ultimate goal in becoming a versatile and most well-rounded musician, Julia enjoys her career as a performer, but also as a teacher for violin and ear training. An advocate of orchestral and chamber music, Julia has served as concertmaster of the Juilliard and Manhattan School Orchestras, for several tours and recording projects, and is also a violinist with the Hyon Trio. Her principal teachers include Sylvia Rosenberg, Lisa Kim, and Glenn Dicterow.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Music degree and will be pursuing a Master of Music, both at The Juilliard School under the tutelage of Richard Aaron.
