The exhibition features wooden furniture made in the Choson Dynasty (1392-1910) and includes furniture of a variety of functions and designs. Even though Korea is a relatively small country, each province has a distinctively different furniture design and decoration style. The exhibit will examine not only cultural characteristics, but also the different aesthetics and lifestyles of Korea's regional society. All works are on loan from Koreana Art and Antiques.
