About the Speakers:


Simon Kim is the owner of Cote, a modern Korean steakhouse in Manhattan’s Flatiron district, and Undercote, its subterranean bar and cocktail lounge. Cote has received a number of accolades, including 2 Stars from The New York Times and a coveted Michelin star, the first awarded to a Korean tabletop grill restaurant anywhere in the world.

Jenny Kwak, with her mother Myung Ja Kwak, operated the acclaimed Korean restaurants Dok Suni in East Village and Do Hwa in West Village. In 2018, Jenny and her husband Terrence Segura opened Haenyeo in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Haenyeo has earned accolades such as 2 Stars from the New York Times and 2 Stars from Eater NYC. She is the author of Dok Suni: Recipes from My Mother's Kitchen.

Ellia Park is the co-founder and manager of Atomix and Atoboy, which she operates with Chef Junghyun Park. Both restaurants have received numerous global accolades, including Two Stars from Michelin Guide, Three Stars from the New York Times, and a James Beard award.
