Our hosts, art professors Dr. Deborah Seleeby-Mulligan and Dr. Kyunghee Pyun, will provide a brief explanation of the exhibit and an overview of the contemporary Asian art market, focusing primarily on Korea. They will identify several of the leading and emerging artists (especially those working in New York City), as well as notable collectors, and explain why the market has grown exponentially in recent years.
